Welcome to JiMerhba! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JiMerhba platform, website, and services. By accessing or using JiMerhba, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using JiMerhba, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users, including guests, hosts, and visitors.

You must be at least 18 years old to use JiMerhba. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. User Accounts & Responsibilities

2.1 Account Registration

To use certain features of JiMerhba, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

2.2 Identity Verification

JiMerhba requires identity verification for both guests and hosts. You agree to:

• Provide valid government-issued identification
• Submit accurate and authentic documents
• Understand that verification is mandatory to book or host weddings
• Accept that we may suspend or terminate accounts that fail verification

3. Booking Terms & Cancellations

3.1 Guest Bookings

When you book a wedding celebration as a guest:

• Your booking is subject to host approval
• Hosts may accept, reject, or request additional information
• Payment is required upon host acceptance (when payment system is enabled)
• You agree to respect the host's cultural traditions and event rules
• You must arrive on time and behave respectfully

3.2 Cancellation Policy

Guests may cancel their booking at any time before the event. Refund eligibility (once payment system is enabled):

• 7+ days before event: Full refund
• 3-7 days before event: 50% refund
• Less than 3 days: No refund
• No-show: No refund

4. Payment Terms

Note: Payment processing via Stripe is currently under development. The following terms will apply once enabled:

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Payments are held in escrow until 24 hours after the event
• JiMerhba charges a service fee (percentage to be determined)
• Hosts receive payment via Stripe Connect to their bank account
• Refunds (if applicable) are processed within 5-10 business days
• Currency conversions are handled by Stripe at prevailing rates

5. Host Terms & Responsibilities

5.1 Listing Accuracy

As a host, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful descriptions of your wedding celebration
• Upload authentic photos of your venue and event
• Clearly state all event details (date, time, location, capacity)
• Disclose dietary options, alcohol policy, and dress code
• Honor all bookings you accept

5.2 Guest Management

Hosts are responsible for:

• Reviewing guest profiles and booking requests
• Communicating event expectations clearly
• Ensuring guest safety and a welcoming environment
• Handling disputes or issues professionally
• Reporting any problems to JiMerhba

6. Intellectual Property

All content on JiMerhba, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by JiMerhba or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

By uploading photos, videos, or other content to JiMerhba, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.

You retain ownership of your content and may request its removal at any time.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use JiMerhba for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any local, national, or international laws
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Submit false or misleading information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
• Scrape, copy, or misuse platform data
• Circumvent security features or authentication measures
• Engage in fraudulent payment activities

8. Liability Limitations

JiMerhba is a platform that connects guests and hosts. We do not organize, host, or attend events.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JiMerhba and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

• Any injuries, losses, or damages arising from attendance at events
• Disputes between guests and hosts
• The accuracy or quality of listings
• Loss of property, theft, or personal harm
• Event cancellations or changes
• Third-party conduct or services

9. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between you and another user, we encourage you to contact JiMerhba support. We will attempt to facilitate a resolution but are not obligated to intervene.

Any disputes between you and JiMerhba shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. You waive your right to participate in class-action lawsuits.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Failure to verify identity
• Abuse or harassment of other users
• Any reason we deem necessary to protect the platform

11. Changes to Terms

JiMerhba reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
